GIVING AT SAINT ANDREW’S

PLEDGING

Believe it or not, most giving does not happen unless it is planned. The pledge is the basis for this plan. As you commit to giving to the Church, the Church in turn commits to be good stewards of your gifts. We at Saint Andrew’s encourage all members and regularly attending visitors to commit to the Church by making a pledge. A pledge enables you to prayerfully discern what gifts you are going to give to the glory of God and enables the Church to budget appropriately for the many wonderful missions and ministries our parishioners, clergy and staff undertake on a daily basis. Click here for the 2012 Pledge Form.

GIVING IN THE OPEN PLATE

Although this has been one way people support the Church, it can be difficult for some members to maintain regular support of the Church and does not provide tax incentives for charitable deductions. From the Church’s point of view, this method is not conducive to the budgeting so necessary for the longevity of the parish.

OFFERING ENVELOPES

Envelopes will be provided upon request to all members and regular visitors of the parish. Individuals may use these envelopes to make systematic gifts to the Church. We recommend that individuals still make a pledge. If you are not receiving envelopes and would like to, please contact the Church office.

SYSTEMATIC AND AUTOMATIC CREDIT CARD OR EFT DEDUCTION

The Church has the means to allow parishioners to set up an automatic deduction on a monthly, quarterly or yearly basis from your credit card or directly from your bank account in a secure manner. Complete this
form if this method of giving works for you and your family.

LIFETIME GIVING

BEQUESTS

Stewardship affects the whole of our lives and it is appropriate to consider giving of your accumulated assets as you do with your yearly giving. The Saint Andrew’s Endowment Fund is set up to honor both our current and past parishioners' gifts and grow those gifts for the future of the Church. Use this form if you would like to leave a legacy to St. Andrew's through the Endowment Fund.

God has been extraordinarily generous to us. He has given us the gift of life, the gift of the world and its resources, and the gift of himself on the cross. Everything we have is a gift from God. Stewardship is our care-taking of the gifts that God has given us and our return of a portion of our income to God through St. Andrew’s. Our pledge is a symbol of our awareness that all that we have comes from God.

Although the work of stewardship includes funding the church budget, it is even more importantly about helping people have a loving relationship with Christ. At St. Andrew’s, Stewardship is
